IIBF Launches 3rd NATIONAL INTER-BANK QUIZ CONTEST “BANKING CHANAKYA -2023. 3rd NATIONAL INTER-BANK QUIZ CONTEST “BANKING CHANAKYA -2023”commencing from 25th September 2023. Banking Chanakya is a Quiz contest open to all staff members currently employed in any bank, located anywhere in India. It is a Team Game and not open for individual participation. Each team should comprise of 2 members, both of whom should be from the same Bank not necessarily from the same city and same branch but from the same zone. Conduct of ON – GROUND SEMI FINAL ROUNDS
The IIBF Competition is an exciting journey for aspiring participants, with the third stage being the ON-GROUND SEMI-FINAL. This stage is where the competition intensifies, and we’re here to provide you with all the details you need to know.
Zonal Level Events
The ON-GROUND SEMI-FINAL is organized into Zonal level events, divided into four distinct Zones: North, South, East, and West. Each Zone hosts its own event in prominent cities – Delhi for the North, Chennai for the South, Kolkata for the East, and Mumbai for the West.
Qualification Criteria
To make it to the Zonal Semi-Finals, teams must distinguish themselves in the online Quarter Final contest. The top six teams from each Zone will secure their spot based on a combination of their scores in the preliminary round and the time taken to complete the quiz.
Travel Reimbursement
For those fortunate enough to qualify, IIBF will cover travel expenses partially. Participants will be reimbursed for the cost of II AC train travel (round trip) or an equivalent amount, depending on which is less. To avail this reimbursement, participants must provide proof of their travel expenses.
Lodging and Boarding
While IIBF takes care of travel costs, lodging, boarding, and local transportation are the responsibility of the participating teams. Be sure to plan accordingly for a comfortable and convenient stay during the Zonal Semi-Finals.

Conduct of ON – GROUND NATIONAL FINALS
The pinnacle of the IIBF Competition is the National Finale, where champions emerge to claim the ultimate prize. The National Finale is the fourth and final stage of the competition, where the champions from each of the four Zones (North, South, East, and West) gather in the vibrant city of Mumbai to compete for the prestigious title.
Qualifying for the National Finale
To secure a spot in the National Finale, teams must first emerge victorious as Zonal Champions in their respective Zones. The journey to this stage begins in the online Quarter Final contest, followed by the Zonal Semi-Finals. Only the top-performing teams make it to this grand event.
Travel Reimbursement
IIBF recognizes the effort and commitment required to reach the National Finale. As a token of support, IIBF will reimburse the travel expenses for the Four Zonal Champions. Participants will be reimbursed for the cost of II-AC train travel (round trip) or an equivalent amount, based on whichever is less. To claim this reimbursement, participants must provide proof of their travel expenses.

Event Format
National Finale will be a grand affair and telecast on National Television. This event is likely to be attended by distinguished and senior banking and finance professionals. This will be conducted by a Quiz master of repute and The TOP 2 teams at the National Level shall be awarded Cash Prize. National Winner will get Prize Rs. 1,00,000 while National Runner Up will get Prize Rs. 75,000
